3/7 Tucson, AZ Co-worker Shoots Other While Showing Gun in Parking Lot of Dennys

A Denny's restaurant employee was injured when a co-worker accidentally shot her in the restaurant's parking lot, police said. Brandy Smith, 22, was in the parking lot of the restaurant when her co-worker, Albert E. Morelli, showed her his gun.
According to Smith, Morelli, 34, had already removed the magazine from the gun when it fired, striking her, he said. Morelli offered to take Smith to the hospital, but she declined. Morelli then left the scene.
