Rickey Gipson, 50, is accused of shooting Donna Gipson, 38, outside her workplace at a retirement home. The shooting happened about 8 a.m. where the victim worked in the laundry. The two were allegedly arguing in the parking lot when she turned and went back in. He pulled a handgun and shot her in the head.
He was arrested without incident a short time later at his mother's house in Shreveport. Police records indicate that they had been to the couple's house half a dozen times.
