Woman Abducted by Business Partner

A woman was kidnapped from the parking lot of her employment as she arrived to work by a man that she had a business acquaintance. The victim worked TADD Tech Temp Services at the Alamo Downs Business Park in San Antonio, TX. On January 13th, Richard Crespo, 42, had met her outside at 11 am where they had an altercation. Crespo allegedly brandished a gun and took her hostage by forcing her into a black mini-van. Witnesses state that they saw him hitting her and heard gunshots. The police soon found him and followed him to a motel where he held the victim hostage for over 18 hours. He released her before dawn but did not surrender himself till police tear-gassed his room 2 hours later. She had met him at a chess tournament and held helped in his enterprise selling chess items but he reportedly became obsessed with her, sending her flowers at least once a week and once 3 times in one day. She had reportedly tried to break off the relationship.

Even if they were not in an intimate relationship, the perpetrator believed that they were. The stalking and control behaviors are the same.

This story is not correctly published. This woman was having an affair with Mr. Crespo and another man. She played the heart strings of these two men and almost lost her life.During the court hearing Mr. Crespo's sister downloaded a stack of e-mails from his PC that this woman sent to him. These e-mails were not business in nature but very revealing about the relationship that was really going on.This man was facing 99 years in prison if convicted but the judge decided to give him 12 years after reading these e-mails.I knew about all that was going on because she told me.She was my friend. She lied about alot of things to me.She was unhappy in her marriage but she would not get out.She even lied to the police about what happened. She should have just told them the truth. Not a workplace violence issue. You should take this story off of your work place violence info board. This is infidelity at it's worst. She is still married to her alcoholic husband and things are still the same at home. What a sad sad story. She still has nightmares about what happened to her.Even though Mr. Crespo is in jail she is still haunted by what happened to her.

This woman was not selling chess pieces for this man on the internet. It is true that she did meet him at a chess tournament in Houston,Texas in which her son was a participant. He is a top notch chess player and won the Susan Pulgar Championship Tournament and won a four year college scholarship to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Your article states that she was kidnapped from the parking lot as she arrived to work. This information is not correct. He was waiting outside her place of employment around 11am in a black mini-van.This is the time she goes to eat lunch. She was on the way to meet the other man when she was confronted by Mr.Crespo as she came out of the building. She was then taken by gunpoint to the black mini-van and taken away.Mr. Crespo took this woman to the motel that they met at many times to have fun during her lunch hour and after she got off of work. The Econo Lodge Motel is only a three minute drive from her place of employment. There was also another motel in which they met up at called the Red Roof Inn which is a one minute drive from where she works. He parked his truck at this motel and rented the black mini-van.This woman told Mr.Crespo that she wanted to just be friends now but Mr. Crespo felt like she had used him for finances and companionship and got very angry and thats why he flipped out and did what he did.He was moving to Texas when this woman told him that she no longer wanted a relationship with him only a friendship.Mr.Crespo did not know about the other man that this woman was seeing. The other man even had enough guts to come to the trial to find out the truth.
